I'm off to a local high-priced hair salon to be a hair model for students of the beauty school. They're having a blonde workshop and I got a slot and get to have my hair colored for FREE!
There are no words for how excited I am. Really, there aren't. I haven't had my hair highlighted professionally in at least 2 years because it's so dang expensive! But today, I get to have it done FREE!
Of course, I could come back with green hair, or burned off stubs, but I guess that's the chance I'm willing to take to save money. I'm not going to think about the green stubs. I'm going to think about this:

Wow! I'm so jealous. I am in serious need of a makeover too and I've never had mine professionally highlighted. I know this stylist who said she wanted to give me high/low lights and a polished, angled cut. I would love to get it done but it's the money, ya know?
